Sri Lanka’s economic challenges are complex and to address the problems it must first unify the spectrum of opinions on how to fix the economy. Several organisations have come together and consulted widely to develop what they call ‘A Common Minimum Program’ for economic recovery. In this interview, Prof Rohan Samarajiva and Gayani Hurulle of LIRNEasia and Dhananath Fernando of Advocata Institute discuss why we need a common minimum program and explain the one they have drafted.
