Documentation Engineer – Refresh Miami

The role

As a documentation writer for QuickNode, you will work on things like experimenting with RPC JSON or other APIs for new blockchains, getting working code working in Python, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, PHP, et al, and writing high-quality documentation that makes the experience of building a blockchain-enabled application as easy as copy-pasting. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our documentation that thousands of developers depend on every month. We also expect every engineer to dedicate at least one day to customer support to better understand our customers.

We are looking for a self-starter, communicator with a strong sense of belonging and a team mentality to collaborate on making best-in-class documentation for the community of developers and businesses that trust QuickNode.

You can expect to meet daily to review the progress of tasks. You will work directly with the technical team: Galina Podstechnaya and Ferhat Kochan.

We need you to have experience with

  • Design highly available systems with disaster recovery in mind
  • Create and enforce code quality requirements
  • Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go and PHP.
  • HTML/CSS and more
  • The HTTP specification
  • Git workflow
  • Linux/Bash or other script for automation
  • Document your processes and share knowledge
