From translating data into clear insights to driving business strategy, your proven expertise and intelligence will help embed evidence-based learning into our day-to-day approach to business and campaigns. You will work to optimize marketing activity; ensure that we have a high return on
investment, and to ensure that this contributes to BPP achieving its business objectives. The role holder will ensure that business stakeholders receive actionable reports, analysis, insights and recommendations at every stage of a customer’s lifecycle. The incumbent will lead a small team of Marketing Insight Analysts, including a Senior Analyst and an Analyst.

what you gonna do

  • Develop and maintain marketing KPIs and dashboard tools alongside key stakeholders
  • Understand and communicate marketing ROI and its impact on broader business goals and marketing KPIs
  • Translate ambiguous stakeholder questions and challenges into achievable actions, define measurement approaches and remove reporting barriers
  • Work collaboratively with all of marketing to gather measurement requirements, business questions, and challenges from marketing teams to provide, in turn, analysis, recommendations, and insights
  • Measure and model marketing activities and results to aid in future planning, for example in attribution modeling, user journey analysis and campaign performance
  • Identify BPP audiences and personas to be used for marketing activity and targeting, ensuring segmentation models are high level and continuously developed – aligned with marketing strategy
  • Use advanced data science techniques to uncover potential opportunities for BPP
  • Communicate clear information directly and through their team in the areas of lead management, campaign performance, behavioral analysis and digital analytics
  • Provide the Marketing Insight roadmap and prioritize the work required in this area
  • Lead a team of analysts to develop a performance reporting infrastructure and performance insights, demonstrating broader leadership skills within the Data Intelligence team

What we are looking for

  • An entrepreneur who understands and can articulate the importance of data analysis and reporting to overall business success
  • Previous experience in Marketing/Analytics Reporting role
  • Ideally a graduate or above in a STEM subject (or relevant work experience)
  • Proficient experience in designing dashboards and analytics (data visualizations and modeling) within tools such as Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL. Preferably with knowledge of PowerBI, Python and R
  • Knowledge of e-commerce performance measurement
  • Ability to creatively problem solve and perform complex analysis to resolve business issues in a timely manner
  • Strong leadership skills, experience leading a team of analysts, and a passion for mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Confident in building strong relationships at all levels of management
  • Extremely professional in communicating with senior management and able to effectively communicate complex analyzes to non-analytical audiences
  • Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines as a decision maker and project manager
  • A deep understanding of data/data modeling and an objective point of view with extreme attention to detail is a must
  • Passionate about insights, continuous learning and communicating a deeper understanding of customers for the benefit of all stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing review sites such as Trustpilot, Feefo and other clients
