Putnam County Community Theater presents ‘The Play that Goes Wrong’ – Shaw Local
Putnam County Community Theater, in cooperation with Dramatist Play Services Inc., will present “The Play that Goes Wrong,” written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday July 29 and Saturday July 30 and 2 p.m. Sunday July 31 at Putnam County High School, 402 E. Silverspoon Ave., Granville.
The story follows the opening night of the new Cornley University Drama Society production, “The Murder at Haversham Manor”, where things quickly go from bad to completely disastrous.
This 1920s thriller has an oblivious lead actress, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who stumble over everything, including their lines. Accident-prone comedians fight against the odds to make it to their final encore, with consequences.
Part Monty Python and part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award-winning comedy is a global phenomenon that aims to make you laugh out loud
The cast of characters includes Eric Masini, Jordan Ladson, Hunter Pratt, Austin Hack, Katrien Holocker, Wesley Grimshaw, Lillian Sandberg, and Mavrick Holocker. The production is directed by Natalie Hulstrom and Meridith Donahue.
